In addition to owning and operating my own wedding business, I have been doing production work since I was 19 (that’s a reeeeally long time, trust me). Throughout my journey I owned a salon, educated onstage, and provided countless classes, been involved in studio productions, managed manufacturer booths at a trade shows, worked backstage in off-Broadway theater, been on crew for a long-running national television ad campaign, and most recently – got involved with participating in and hosting styled shoots.
I was in a place not too long ago where I was saving my knowledge and expertise only for special occasion makeup artists. I was pouring my heart into it, because I kept telling myself I had to stick with only that. But my tribe is full of photographers, planners, and other wedding professionals. I am drawn to collaborating with others. My experience in production has led me to a deeper relational level with other wedding vendors.
I believe teamwork produces the most wonderful things. This belief is part of the fabric of who I am. Intentional portfolios lead to schedules that are bursting at the seams with the most AMAZING clients. Styled Shoots are a critical element to a portfolio with purpose.

As part of your experience at Wedding Camp, we have included two styled shoots that will take place on Tuesday, August 25. The shoots will be designed and coordinated by an experienced professional. Participation in the live event is highly encouraged since this will catapult your business to the next level. Got a conflict you can't get around? We realize life happens. Since tickets are non-refundable, we are happy to work with you to have someone take your place or in emergency situations, we will give you a voucher for the next scheduled camp event. You must notify us of any changes 7 days prior to the event to ensure proper credit.
The course is a bonus but just like any program, you will get out what you put in. Time commitment to the course is about 10 - 15 hours total. And really, isn't a few hours of focused time worth it to experience a new, easier way to work? Ultimately, you decide how much time to put in. You can work at your own pace with your own private site login.
